I was very pleasantly surprised by the Sheraton Miyako Osaka and would return without hesitation for the right price. Here are my impressions and photos:

Pros:

• Upgraded to a Premium Sheraton Suite (I believe all suites here have two beds) - double the covers for me!
• Bed was very comfortable - plush covers, plush mattress, plush pillows
• Shower pressure was good, and shower stall was very large
• Room looks “old” but is not worn and is very clean
• AC worked great, I thought
• No issue with 3 PM late checkout
• Associate at check-in was very cheery
• I thought the evening service at the 20th floor club lounge was good - several decent dessert choices and friendly service - when the staff saw me pour Kahula on the rocks, they proactively offered to get cold milk from the back, which is what I wanted
• I chose breakfast in restaurant, which was good but ends at 9:30 for last admission - good omelet, great croissant, good waffles and pancakes, French fries are so Japanese breakfast
• Welcome gift was chocolate chip cookies

Cons:

• WiFi performance was a bit spotty in my room, at least on my iPhone

I would return. It’s a good deal!
