I can't find a thread for booking cash tickets through AS on QR. If someone can direct me there, I can pose this question there. Or if someone here knows...

I am considering booking a cash J ticket on QR through the AS site. The price roughly lines up with a "Business Classic" fare on QR's site for the same flights. The terms appear to say this is "R" fare class, which is indeed "Business Classic". However, some of the stated terms are different. For example, AS website says the ticket is fully refundable. An R class fare on QR is refundable for a fee. There is also no mention of seat selection, whether paid or included. R fares require paying for seat selection, but AS doesn't mention it. If I booked through AS, would I have to, or could I even, pay for a seat assignment?

Anyone have experience with purchasing cash tickets on QR through AS that can shed some light on these discrepancies?

Also, if I have to pay for seat assignments, is that only through QR's website? If I can charge it through AS, i could use an AMEX airline credit, but I don't see how AS's IT could handle that transaction.
