If somebody wants to MS 200k on Amex cards and only get ~1% back, go for it. If DL wants to reward a small businesses owner with DM by putting 250k+ on their Reserve business card, then thats their prerogative as well.
It's wild to me that people think there's some large subset of spenders out there that can easily charge $75k to a credit card annually. Let alone $200k+. Really exposes the tiny bubble you're living in. Many American families struggle to make $75k for an entire household, and that's before taxes.

The amount of Diamonds getting there by CC spend has to be infinitesimal. And who cares if they exist? By definition, these people basically do not fly but maybe a few times a year. And given their extremely high spend, I'd bet a good number of them WFBF. The perks for Diamond would be in the form of CBs, not being higher on the complimentary upgrade list.
