How do you stay safe in Jerusalem? I understand there are no-go neighborhoods where you would get mugged or worse by Palestinians.

My interests are historic sites, unique natural formations, as well as enjoying warm weather during the Northern winter. As for modern stuff, I love it too, but I understand that historic stuff in Israel is way more exciting than the modern stuff

Decided against Dead Sea - it would be too cold to enjoy floating, better do that in warmer months later.
