Location is OKish for me,

BUT I must defend the IC. As Diamond AMB I have always been UG to a delightful suite. The refurbed one in Feb this year was superb.

As for breakfast. Lounge breakfast really is weak. The chef drama of cooking one very boring dish - most days - in front of you is not to my taste.

I'll defend the main resto breakfast - as long as you are prepared to sit outside and avoid the zoo in the main dining section.

The South Asian, SE Asian and Chinese offer is really good. If you want Western breakfast likely best go to McD's!
I must have stayed at the Intercontinental over 100 times in my 14 years as RA. I enjoyed the free daily laundry quota and evening check-outs, loved the lounge and the other little perks RA membership brought - but NEVER got a suite upgrade. So count yourself lucky getting one on every visit

After getting thrown out of the RA programme I relied on my Hilton status to get comfortable stays with lounge access. Curiosity took me to the Indigo - OK but vaguely disappointing.

Now equipped with a lounge-pass I'd try the CP, but I find the location so awkward that i have yet to realise that ambition: I'm intrigued that they are managing to keep rates high enough to match, often exceed, those of the IC.
