It is now 16 Dec, and still no reset. I called in again, and the Agent could see that the reset request has been submitted in the system, and is still under processing. He told me to wait patiently. I just told the Agent not to promise the reset would be done in 24 hours, if it could not be done!
I just did exactly the same! The lady said she would send a chaser email noting the date of the original request. She could also see my flights on Friday and noted the urgency.
