Nothing warped about preferring to find local places. In 2024, on my home turf (Tokyo), I can count the number of times that I've eaten at a restaurant in a moderately-priced hotel on the fingers of no hands one finger.


EDIT - I had a tasty-but-overpriced curry at Flyer's Table, which is the restaurant attached to the Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu at Haneda Airport T2.
