I just completed the transfer. Super easy. There is one point when you are walking towards the transfer corridor where it seems like you are going against the flow of traffic through one of the security areas.

When I got to the transfer desk, I got a printed boarding pass and then headed on through.

The digital boarding pass was quite helpful in Vancouver - they wanted to see my onward travel from Taiwan before I got on the CI flight.
