I think the way you look at it, « international » travel is meaningless. Not every « international » destination has the same travel patterns. While few people will for instance travel to Nepal to go mountain trekking -because it’s far and takes more than just the four days of Thanksgiving and it’s not the time of year to do that - there will be a substantial number of people travelling to Paris for a short break holiday over Thanksgiving, plus many Europeans that live in the US will use the time to travel home. Planes to Paris will be full. Therefore prices will be high, and I don’t see why they should go down. Expect to pay a lot.
