Staying here at present after 2 nights at IC (review on that to follow)

Fairly easy walk from Ampang Park MRT station. Take exit A and mostly flat path protected from traffic the whole way. Then left onto Tun Razak, past the Castle restaurant, turn left you see the Ibis sign and just wander past the Ibis and round to the foyer.
Also Grab has it in the right position (used that from the IC)

Had booked King Standard, not expecting much and got King Premium via app two days before, (Diamond Ambassador for a few more weeks) and when checking in on 25th floor (of 30). No Diamond letter. No comment on amenity. Went and checked later and they said something will be delivered to room. 9pm and still nothing. Oh well.

Smallish gym but a really nice Lev 33 infinity edge pool and non-heated spa. Also has a small glass platform cantilevered over the edge that you can stand on.

Room is stunning, beats the IC hands down. Probably the only slight negative for some is an open robe.

All the tech mod cons with auto login IHG Internet, LG TV with Netflix and Chromecast built in.
Somewhat surprisingly all USB-A sockets - double 2.1A each side of bed and at desk.

So can't comment on Lounge but noted that Level 31 is carded off, so you can't totally avoid the front desk.
