Yeah me too. Many stops and never checked. But the wife was with a few weeks back and unusually had a look at the bill and asked the reasonable question for £44 here and another there and another, and we were told about the service charge. Given we'd spend a huge amount we asked for it be removed. Only a week later to miss and forget about it at the IC O2! It's a load of cash as well with a three night stay and multiple rooms. I don't mind being a generous chap, but when 'generous' is automatically taken, it starts to sting some.
