Many premium flyers were unhappy that such deals made it easy to qualify for Gold or Platinum, especially with the insane rates that FY were giving until end of June 2024.
Based on this, some inside info and the fact that flights are very full I think it's highly unlikely to return for now.
And there's the
AmBank Enrich credit card which brings the requirement threshold down by 30% , so Platinum is 70 sectors (instead of 100) if you hold this card. Strangely payment dosen't need to come from the card itself to qualify so with an annual fee of RM500 ... definitely a nothing to lose shortcut.
