In the past, Thai Airways used to have 4 A340-500s in service. After stopping the service, 1 has been sold to the Air Force, HS-TLC MSN698. The other 3 have been announced for sale to other interested parties and all 3 have been sold out. It is expected that there will be postponed to take out the aircraft from Don Mueang Airport. The remaining three A340-500s are docked soon.
