I am new to the UA program because I need to fly to UA hub frequently. There is a good chance I can get a status next year. But I am price sensitive because I need to pay for my own travel. I recently booked a RT basic economy expecting that I won't get any PQF. But to my surprise my inbound trip was credit with 1 PQF (S) while the outbound trip is 0 PQF (N). Does it mean that regardless whether UA calls it basic economy, as long as the fare class is NOT N, then I should get 1 PQF? Thanks.
