It's now been 4 weeks I can't log in to my BA Exec Club account on the website.
Despite multiple phone calls (and opened cases), multiple password resets, I still can't log in to the website. I've used all the tricks around clearing cookies, using incognito mode, different browsers. Nothing works.
Astonishingly (and despite the many password resets), my BA iOS app has kept me logged in, and I dare not touch it.
Couple of specifics and I am hoping someone can identify a pattern that would help me out:
1. My log in attempts (these days I only see the old version of the site), land on a page with URL:
https://www.britishairways.com/content/error/idp-error, saying "Sorry, we couldn't log you in" "Please try again later of visit the Help Centre"
2. When clicking on "Forgot password?" from the login screen, and entering my email - I get an email entitled "Unlock your British Airways account" informing me that my account is currently locked. Clicking on the link to unlock it, takes me to a page with URL:
https://accounts.britishairways.com/...unlock?ticket=[SOME UNIQUE IDENTIFIER], which says "Something went wrong - Sorry this service is temporarily unavailable and will be restored as soon as possible"
3. When I call the call centre who trigger a password reset, I am able to chose a new password after which I land on my actual account page. When I sign out and log in again, it fails again.
Any thoughts? Every time I call the silver line, I get the case escalated and nothing gets done. It's utterly frustrating.
