Just looked at fares Weds night (big rainstorm, but stlll!) Uber and Lyft were $270 and $300 from Chelsea to T4. GF and I hopped on the E train. Had to schlep a pretty heavy bag down a flight of stairs, but saved about 20 mins and $250.
Wonder how much Uber/Lyft would have quoted to the Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain station.
I'm guessing that the likelihood of being able to hail a yellow cab in a rainstorm was pretty low.
