Just my two cents but manage your dining expectations with an infant. Popular places could have long lines. Some places may not want infants and you might be totally out of place with one.

That's not to say you can't eat phenomenonaly well. Just might not be the places you'd expect without an infant.

Also, whether child is mobile could be a big factor which you might not know.

We have had some smaller rooms with pack and play for our 2 year old. We never traveled to Japan with a 1 year old although China we did. Had cribs versus pack and plays. But was at five star places. So might depend what they can offer.

Some people here will have good advice so trust what you get here. It's solid advice.
