We have a companion coupon which expires 4/30/05 - it is on hold for us as a result of Alaska's changing the SEA-MIA flight to a redeye last fall and our canceling that trip. We just figured out how to use the voucher (in between several trips that were already booked between last fall and this spring) but can't go until May 13-16. Do you think Alaska will honor it? Or is it a lost cause even trying? Since I can get the same ticket for about $100 cheaper on United, I would do that if I couldn't use the voucher but prefer Alaska for the miles. They will usually extend the certificate for 1 month after expiration, (assuming you havent have other exceptions made in the past) just call them, they are good about helping in situations like that.
