Hi all, I have a question about GoH here. We have a reservation for spring break, parents and kids, booked under spouse’s account. We just realized spouse has an important meeting the day we were set to fly in, so kids and I are flying in as planned and spouse will join us the next day. We’re assuming here it won’t be a problem to add my name to reservation for check in.

I was planning to barter for GoH award in cc (or elsewhere) but saw in a post above that benefits don’t apply if the named guest isn’t there. Will it be a problem for me to check in under GoH booking (assuming we can find one), since the main benefit is breakfast and spouse will be there on day 2? Or should we cancel/rebook under my name since I’m checking in on day 1? Award nights are still currently available. Thanks for any insight!
