I think it’s a different platform than the airline portals, I think. I routinely use the Rakuten app and haven’t had many tracking issues. One recently with a giftcards.com purchase where I used a code that wasn’t listed on the Rakuten page (during the period when the AA Portal didn’t have GC.com), but I didn’t follow up with them because it didn’t seem worth my time, knowing that I did use the code.
