Credit Valid Period Extended
I just noticed some credits I have in my wallet now expire five years out. Also received an email today from Alaska noting this is a new policy.
Earlier this year you were issued an Alaska Airlines travel credit following a flight disruption. We are pleased to inform you that your credit is valid and redeemable for fiveyears from the date that the certificate was issued (see expiration date below). If you have already used part of your credit, the remaining balance may be used through the listed expiration date. You will see the expiration date reflected in your Mileage PlanTM account.
Certificate number: X
New expiration date: 8/7/2029
Your credit must be used on
Alaskaair.com and applied to travel before the expiration date.
We hope this five-year validity period will give you more flexibility and time to plan and enjoy your future travels with us. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact our reservations team via
web chat link or live chat text on 82008 for assistance.
