Your post is right on point with your overview on quality @the W and variety is exceptional as
well as your take on product quality @ Sheraton
What in the US even compares @ that price point ?

The Sheraton Grand in SYD my go to hotel does a good job too
but it’s been only in the past few years it vastly improved to the credit of their chef Duncan and his team
And a fair refresh of the dining room and buffet items variety
But quality of baked goods I would still give the nod to the W
Much of the pastry is made to far in advance @ the Sheraton and for me it’s a turn off to have
refrigerated days old pastry.I suppose they have to produce more volume with the amount of guests they have to feed
But I also find less reason to overeat @ The Sheraton
Sheraton is the best value in the city for what you get and even with my criticisms
I wish there was something like it in every city I visit
