My mom and brother have a flight booked from JFK to EBB (Uganda) via Nairobi on Kenya Airways, tomorrow on KQ5 and KQ416 (leaving 7pm from JFK Dec. 14th and arriving in Entebbe at 9pm December 15th). She just received an email that the flight was cancelled because of "a schedule change" and offered a flight leaving 25 hours later. I told her she should call and demand they book her on a partner airlines, but this is my first time dealing with something like this. Any advice on what she should ask for? Our trip in Uganda starts on the morning of the 16th so its really not ideal to take the flight 25 hours later.
