Regarding breakfast - I think the quality of the underlying ingredients at the W Sydney is quite high - all local sourcing, they list the vendors for everything from charcuterie to jams to breads, etc. It isn't standard hotel food service mass produced generic items. Variety is decent, the made to order dishes are generally well prepared too. But in terms of my personal enjoyment of it, I prefer the more elaborate spread at the Sheraton Grand for example, even if the individual product quality is lower there.
