My problem with PE on BA is that the armrest can’t be moved, so even if I have an empty seat next to me, I can’t spread out. As it’s also a smaller cabin, I often end up with someone next to me. I’m not fortunate enough to be able to afford to cross the Atlantic in Business or First, so I always opt for Economy where I usually get a row to myself, and the armrests can be lifted enough to allow me to spread out somewhat.

This is obviously irrelevant if you’re travelling with family, as you’ll probably be sitting together, however, other people might benefit from the input.
