UA FFC / ETC can be used for any flight bookable on united.com. Best to start with a fresh booking and use FFC as payment, starting from the FFC and changing flights can have problems.

UA will generally not book partner flights only, unless a JV or codeshare

BR blocks UA from booking many of their flights / discount fares on 016 tickets. This called "plating restriction"
