You don't need to do that.
Click on "View Saved Alerts"
Check the box next to "Notified"
Find the relevant alert (by default I believe they're sorted forward chronologically, you can click the triangle and get newest at the top).
Click the curved arrow to resubmit the alert; this will show for any future-dated alerts.
