Interesting that the rather understated Hibik on the menu might be this 100th anniversary one, perhaps there's concern that they might run out so are hedging their bets.

The way I'd read it was that I thought the 100th anniversary was only available to purchase a bottle, rather than poured as part of the menu's F&B offering.

I guess I'll just try them and see what I think, but would still welcome any descriptive insights of those who are into whiskies.
I'm not expert (learnt everything I know at the tourist trap Edinburgh 'Scotch Whisky Experience') but I'd say definitely not peaty for either. They're both blended I believe.

I think others have said they've been poured and offered the 100th anniversary onboard, I suspect most flights will be until they run out.
Anyway I would just ask for both and then continue to drink which ever you prefer.

Also we found that whiskies for sale in Japan are significantly cheaper than the UK, with the weak Yen and no tax for tourists. We brought back a Hibiki Blender's choice (£200 in the UK for £100) and two JW Blues (750ml for £100 each), as well as the two 100th anniversaries from onboard.
