I tried both, for me the Chichibu was slightly more interesting (?exciting) on the palate but both were very drinkable.
Yes, thank you, I've seen those, but they don't seem to go into a descriptive style of the whiskies themselves, i.e., how smoky/peaty they are for example.
Interesting that the rather understated Hibik on the menu might be this 100th anniversary one, perhaps there's concern that they might run out so are hedging their bets.
The way I'd read it was that I thought the 100th anniversary was only available to purchase a bottle, rather than poured as part of the menu's F&B offering.
I guess I'll just try them and see what I think, but would still welcome any descriptive insights of those who are into whiskies.
