Thank you! I read the TPG article about it but it showed how you get to it from the drop off curb. I usually stay at TWA upon returning to JFK from the UK/before going the rest of the way home, not the other way around like this time. So I'm used to entering T4 from the airtrain
To get to the Airtrain from TWA, use the outdoor (mostly) covered walkway across the surface parking lot from from the hotel's main entrance, don't go through the connector to T5, that will take you the loooong way.
