On AA PE, I fimd the cabins tend to be more consistenlty full, as they appear to be more reaxed at allowing upgrades into PE for higher tier Advantage members. On BA OpUps to PE/WTP appear to only happen where operationally required.
Think there was one or two seats free on my last flight. Looked pretty packed and not that comfortable in Y.
Never really had a non-full AA PE cabin since before Covid (previous flight was full, although one person went up to business)
Did have an empty seat next to me on the outbound with BA.
Only once been upgraded from PE to CW and that was around 7 years ago on my birthday. GGL, Gold, Silver status has never got me anything from this cabin if being used as a stepping stone.
