Travelling with Infants in Business Class

A colleague of mine will soon be flying to Santiago from Australia on LATAM in business class. They have an infant that will be 6 months old when flying. I have read elsewhere that in the past LAN Chile (and possibly LATAM) had a policy whereby infants needed to have their own seat booked when travelling in business class. However, when he contacted LATAM via chat earlier this week he was told that he simply needed to pay 10% of the fare for the infant and that was it.

Could someone who has flown LATAM recently (i.e. within the past year or so) with an infant comment on what the latest policy is in this regard?
