Breakfast only, when Globalist is present with ID. I have never experienced this at any other Hyatt property before. I guess we have to thank all the people exploiting the Globalist breakfast in the early days when the Rio became a Hyatt.

I know of dozens of Hyatt properties that would not allow you a meal at 12pm to be comped as breakfast. If you showed showed up at noon they’d be now offering lunch, not breakfast. Whatever you ordered would not be comped at that point. Even with a breakfast voucher they’re now onto serving lunch at the vast majority of properties. Next, as is common with any Vegas resort they request ID when assigning a room charge. This should be common across the board as it could lead to abuse.

Example - If I overhear the guest in front of me at check in’s name is Smith, they are in room 524. I go to breakfast simply say my name is Smith in room 524.

This is why it’s a policy to check ID when assigning a room charge, especially in “Sin City”.
