Unfortunatelly I am on a business trip, so I am alone, nevertheless Mrs. K is easy going person, in trust we trust 😀
The opening was a great experience. The tree had lights off, at some point a nice band came down by the stairs and sung 4 Christmas songs, followed by a speach of Mr. van Dijk, countdown and lights on 😀 After one more live song we moved to some festive music. I can relate to the message in the invitation of starting feeling festive, although being alone the atmosphere was great, it was making me smile. The overall spirit around was already festive, the event made it even better.
Btw I was low profile looking for Nina, I have some suspicion I may saw her but I think there were much richer looking people + I may be saved by a nice conversation I had with a person who turned out to be the Director of Rooms.
I am glad Amstel restaurant is not full and currently enjoying a nice dinner with fantastic wine
