I was wondering about the same and was able using Google Flights connecting to Thai website to book J Fare in Z on BKK-UTH. I just checked it again, seems to work on other routes as well. Price was app. 30 % higher than when doing dummy booking for U fare in January. What kind of cabin will be used in May is another topic for discussion.
