Help with response to BA on Shanghai cancellations comp

Does this qualify for full £520? Thank you.

Yes, full comp, £520 should be payable. Wait until you have completed travel.
Finally got a response from BA Global relations today 11 Dec (claim submitted 4 Oct). They say compo is due but only 50% as flight arrived ahead of scheduled arrival time.

The alternative flight via Doha did indeed depart 11 hours earlier and take 5 hours longer and we lost a night of our stay in Shanghai. We didn't arrive within 4 hours if the original (it was 5.5 hours earlier). According to the rules the full £520 each passenger is payable (flight cancelled 6 days before departure). How should I word my response to BA?
