I’ve stayed at two of the me and all’s and would love to see them expand across Europe. Yeah, the rooms are small, but they do at least have personality. But biggest thing is they allow Hyatt to have a presence in secondary and tertiary cities that would never have an HR or even an HC (someone mentioned that above) but except for a few exceptions those are all located in pretty major cities.

They’re not going to be aspirational, but if they could approach Marriott’s AC levels across the EU it would open up a lot of interesting, less well known places. I had never heard of Kiel, but I had a few days to kill while in Hamburg and chose it just because I could earn Hyatt nights. Not the most exciting place I’ve ever been but interesting enough and glad I went. And had a nice view of the harbor from the room as well.

Now what I’d really like is for NH to be Hyatt’s next acquisition to really open up some new places but doubt that is in the cards.
