They’re not going to be aspirational, but if they could approach Marriott’s AC levels across the EU it would open up a lot of interesting, less well known places. I had never heard of Kiel, but I had a few days to kill while in Hamburg and chose it just because I could earn Hyatt nights. Not the most exciting place I’ve ever been but interesting enough and glad I went. And had a nice view of the harbor from the room as well.
Now what I’d really like is for NH to be Hyatt’s next acquisition to really open up some new places but doubt that is in the cards.
Unless I'm losing my mind, didn't the old Me and All site also show the upcoming openings in Leipzig, Stuttgart and Hamburg? I don't see anything on the new site. Am I remembering that correctly? Or were those all going to be Lindners?
Agreed that the brand name is, um, cumbersome. But then "Hyatt Zilara" probably sounds strange to your average Berliner.
I've stayed at 3 Me and All and, though the rooms are indeed small, the locations near city centre transportation work pretty well. Usually a nice bar in the lobby or rooftop.
