Aside from the weak yen and weak demand post-pandemic, I think ANAʻs Flying Honu has made Narita unprofitable for HA and JL. I wouldnʻt be surprised if JL pulls out of NRT-HNL too unless they are routing a plane full of connections via NRT that are not available via HND or KIX.
