Thank you gormless for my goodies that arrived from Amazon today! I'm so excited for the calendar and the socks especially. I need to be in the office next week and will probably wear the socks one day since work is why they ended up on my wish list.

The books excite me as well, and those will be strategically placed in my TBR stack.

Funny story about the box: Last night, I reminded my father that boxes addressed to me, but that included my mother's name, should just go to her for safe-keeping until Christmas. Proving that he needs hearing aids, he heard, "boxes that arrive... should go to... for safekeeping until Christmas," and gave the box to my mother. Is it too late to order hearing aids for him for Christmas?
