Interesting. That’s a first for me. Clearly a glass (and better yet, a “proper” glass) is better, but I’ve never known anyone to choose not to have a beverage at all because of the plastic cup. (Again, putting aside the waste issue.) Please don’t take this as judgement; it’s just new to me! Actually, it is judgement if your reason is just that it’s “cheap and tacky”; it’s not judgement if your reason is that you don’t enjoy the beverage out of plastic.
