I feel I'm slowly turning into a true idiot. I haven't taken any pure mileage runs, but I've noticed I enjoy sitting in the plane - even in the back. I've taken longer routings just for the sake of extra segments (only for the fun of it, not for getting more segments in an FFP). I've also had quite a lot of lounge time by booking cheap fares with long layovers, both for the LH status match challenge and on OneWorld.

Two IRROPS this year, both by airlines where they are the norm:

1. KQ cancelled a flight from NBO a few hours before departure (I was already at the airport, coming from a connecting flight) due to not having enough passengers and moved all the pax for the flight the next day. Transfer desk said their policy is to pay for the Kenyan visa and a hotel in such cases, but that day hotels were full (what a coincidence!), so all pax had to spend the night in the wonderful terminal 1A. Instead of handing out food vouchers they opened a food distribution point in the terminal, providing a sub-par dinner and breakfast. I regret not taking the KQ status match when they had it, at least I could have spent the night in the lounge (and I wouldn't be surprised if there was room in the hotels for status pax)
2. HC cancelled my DSS - BJL (154 km) and rerouted me DSS - CKY - BJL (678 + 532 km). Being a newborn idiot, I just enjoyed getting more time in the plane, even though it cut my sleep the following night by 3 hours. Didn't experience an HC plane and onboard service though, the flights were operated by GetJet Latvia.

And I experienced the first package holiday with chartered flights since 2015. 8 hours to SID in a TUI 7M8 and back, with a true "viinaa menee niin paljon" clientele. Oh the contrast to scheduled flights.

I understood from the opening message that this thread isn't supposed to be the flight stats thread, so I won't post them here now. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
