I don't mean abuse in this way as an ethical/moral deficiency on the card holder's part, and I certainly don't want to come across as sympathizing with BoA or AS in any way, I'm sure they do just fine.

I mean using the product in a way that was not quite as the marketing department intended and didn't envision the card being used. I imagine 3x on foreign spend is planned as a "we fly internationally now, get this card and put your spend for your trip to Seoul on it for extra points!". Not, "we want you to switch your $30,000/mo in Facebook France ad spend onto this card". I'm happy to do some variation on the latter if it's available, but there's a good reason no other card offers this perk.
