Alaska says you need 1 million “flight miles”.

All members who have one million lifetime flight miles on Alaska flights are guaranteed MVP Gold status each year”

They don’t seem to specify what they mean by flight miles, but my understanding is that it is BIS (butt in seat) miles that you paid cash for, on AS (+QX+Skywest) metal only. No award flights, no class of service bonuses, and so I would also not expect them the could BE at a lower rate. But I have yet to fly a BE flight… and even if I did, I probably wouldn’t even notice how it impacts my MM balance since I don’t have any hope that I will ever get there.
