I had a $100 Amex Hilton gift card and the Hotel credited only $92 despite Hiltons Customer Assistance Center’s promise that I would get a credit of $100.

Later they told me “we can’t help, you have to talk to the Hotel. Hotel’s explanation “That’s because of the exchange rate”. This doesn’t make sense. If I get a credit if $92 on my credit card statement instead of $100, they obviously calculated it wrong. Of course in favor of Hilton.
