Scoot in my book is still awful, but that is my personal experience.
However, they handle a three hours delay fairly well and the food voucher is definitely something new. However a word about the "to go" bag handed to you... Scoot is strictly BOB only so that to go bag is just part of the compensation for the delayed flight or the "lack of catering" available onboard due to the last minute change of aircraft and lack of time to cater the plane.
Typical Scoot onboard service in economy is buy on board service. Not many people buy stuffs on these short flights, but they have to do at least one cart run except on some KUL flights when there is weather enroute. For Plus passengers up front, they get a free meal of their choice with one free beverage of their choice.
Glad things worked out for you!
