So the CRJ550 is based off the CRJ700, just limited in seats. It's kinda like the CRJ705's little sibling (I still call the 900s a 705 from time to time, old habits)
Which is my point. It's a CR7 with 20 seats removed. Hence all the closet space and whatnot. But UA had some very specific factors that drove them to get that aircraft created, largely related to scope clause, and I don't think AC has those same issues.
