In similar situations I've always been top of the list and processed as such.
But that's a situation where I would have had an agent do a SDC to avoid all this.
I tried that first, but the Concierges couldn’t change that flight without changing the rest of the itinerary in ways that didn’t fit my constraints.
It’s possible they just didn’t know how to get around it, but it stumped two separate Concierges. It seemed like the only options they had were the ones that come up in the FP booking system.
Good to know it should have worked the way I expected!
