Exactly, that angle often confounds people though, or they get got by the latch in the centre.
I would say the comment about bags being overstuffed if also a big part of it. My bag has some outside pockets, and even if it's not overly full, those many it bulge slightly outside the allowed dimensions, and make it even more if a pain to fit in. I've frequently seen the same from other passengers.
So separately, I was told yesterday that AC and Jazz had paused the seat/interior upgrades on the CR9s due to costs? Although that doesn’t jive with the comment that there’s already a warehouse full of interiors upthread.
