Christmas dinner on last Wednesday’s BA113.
Food was tasty but service was odd - couldn’t decide if the crew were being lazy, cutting costs or trying to be efficient given the flight length. We weren’t offered a post take off drink and instead served my main meal drink of Pinot Noir with nuts and then served it again once the meal arrived. We also had to ask at least 5 times for a pre departure drink only to be finally told they had ran out but in fairness was offered champagne from the F cabin. After my dessert I asked for cheese and biscuits which too was forgotten. When I reminded the crew she tried to save face and still insisted on clearing the tray before bringing it to me which meant I was then left with the cheeseboard being directly placed on the table as per the photo! Overall very forgetful crew in general which let the flight’s service down somewhat. 7/10
