Probably too late, but I would recommend against a car if you're visiting George Town. Traffic is horrendous and parking is nearly nonexistent. So much easier (and probably cheaper) to use Grab. Whatever amount of time you spend waiting for a Grab, you'll probably spend double that time hunting for a parking spot and walking to your destination.
